Qualifications
Requires a Master of Social Work Degree and a PEL School Services Personnel Certificate.

BMP (Bureau Marshall Putnam) Special Education Cooperative is seeking a full-time school school social worker We serve fourteen districts in north-central Illinois. Our office is in Tiskilwa, just south of Princeton, conveniently located on I-80, fifty minutes from Peoria, one hour from the Quad Cities, one & one-quarter hours from Bloomington-Normal, and one & one-half hours from Rockford and the western suburbs. School assignments consider home location to minimize travel.
Social workers report to a supervising school social worker and our close-knit and supportive team consults on a regular basis. The social worker is an integral part of their building teams, along with a school psychologist and special education coordinator. Our philosophy is proactive and supportive in the area of RtI/MTSS, with data-based decision-making and quality intervention at all tiers being top priorities.
