Duties
The Principal will develop and maintain academic programs that will prepare students for college, work, and/or the world in which they live. The administrative team consists of the Principal, assistant principal, assistant principal/athletic director, deans office, and student services office.
The Principal will provide leadership that focuses on supporting teaching through professional development and data-driven decision making and accountability for all staff. The Principal will support student learning through curriculum development, evidence-based instructional strategies, and assessment. The Principal will work with parents and community members to build school/community culture. The Principal will supervise the daily routine and operation of the high school and extra-curricular events and activities and coordinate management of school staff.
Qualifications
Illinois Professional Educator License with General Administrative Endorsement Required
Salary/Benefits
12-month position, regionally competitive salary determined by qualifications and experience; complete benefits package including health insurance, and district-paid TRS
