Will be directly responsible to the Superintendent. Shall serve as instructional leader in curriculum improvement and staff development. Will direct, guide and coordinate the total educational program in cooperation with the staff. Responsible for maintaining a school climate conductive to learning. Responsible for evaluation of all professinal staff. Shall involve staff in communications and decision-making. Responsible for the overall effectiveness of curricular, disciplinary, and extra-curricular programming.


Appropriate Illinois Professional Educators License endorsed in General School Administration. Master's Degree in School Administration. 2+ years of Building Level Administration Experience (High School Preferred).  Completion of Illinois Performance Evaluation Training. A strong background in Curriculum & Instruction. Alternative qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.


11 month contract. Salary will be regionally competitive based on qualifications and experience. Contract includes Board paid Teacher Retirement Contribution and Major Medical Insurance. 2 personal days and 12 sick days.
