Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma (required)
2. Associates Degree or equivalent technology experience or certifications (preferred)
3. Knowledge of PC hardware and peripheral equipment maintenance/repair.
4. Familiarity with Chromebooks and Chromebook support.
5. Knowledge of multi-media equipment and applications, (i.e. projectors, video displays, video cameras, audio systems, audio and video recording and streaming technologies)
6. Working knowledge of software including, but not limited to MS Windows operating systems, and Microsoft Office.
7. Knowledge of Google Workspace for Education including Gmail, Google Docs, Google Drive, etc.
8. Ability to work well with fellow employees and possess proficient oral and written communication skills to provide responsive and professional support services.
9. Service oriented, with strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
10. Experience working in a K-12 education setting, working directly with students and staff
11. Ability and desire to keep abreast of current technology hardware and software trends.
JOB GOALS:
To provide support for staff and students in the use of instructional and media technologies throughout the building. Provides support for multi-media technologies used in classrooms, presentations, meetings and public events. This position will require some flexible hours.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provides level 1 trouble shooting for all district technologies including staff laptops, desktops, classroom and meeting space media technologies, etc.
2. Provides support for staff and students in the use of district approved applications.
3. Provides audio and video production support for school wide productions, large meetings and assemblies, public events, board meetings and district produced video communications. This includes setup and operation of live audio support equipment, presentation video systems, live streaming and audio and video recording systems.
4. Responds to and maintains helpdesk tickets and documentation.
5. Install hardware, software and peripherals as directed. This includes replacement of components
6. Assists maintaining technology hardware inventory.
7. Assist Chromezone staff supporting student Chromebooks and duplicating services as needed.
8. Troubleshoots and resolves problems with district wide audio and video equipment.
9. Performs additional duties as assigned by the Technology Director.
