Qualifications
Candidate must be student-centered, high energy, flexible, possess a strong work ethic, and be able to build positive relationships within our school community. In addition, the candidate should be passionate about teaching and learning; self-directed and self-motivated. They should have a strong sense of responsibility and the capacity to accommodate the various learning needs and styles of students. It is important to be well versed in elementary curriculum content areas, skills and concepts and capable of planning comprehensive lessons that demonstrate knowledge of differentiated instruction along with alignment to Common Core Standards. The candidate must have excellent writing and oral communication skills. The candidate must demonstrate a classroom management plan that is aligned with district expectations and provides for a learning environment that is conducive for student growth and learning.
Candidate should hold current Professional Education License and be properly endorsed for the position which requires a K-12 Reading Specialist endorsement.
