Refer identified PreK-12 McKinney-Vento youth to System Navigator while working with the schools
Assist Regional Liaisons with training of staff on identification, rights, services and resources for M-V children & youth
Build a relationship between the school districts, System Navigator and Continuum of Care agencies
Attend monthly Continuum of Care meetings (optional)
Participate in trainings with Regional M-V Liaison
Follow-up with school districts on M-V families and youth from last school year who have not attended FY21 and ensure that they are enrolled in school.
Work with the System Navigators and M-V Liaison to ensure that that M-V students have the technologies necessary to continue eLearning
Work with Liaisons & M-V students that are not participating in eLearning to resolve issues that keep them from their schoolwork
Work with M-V Liaisons to ensure high school seniors have completed a FAFSA and identified appropriately for financial aid
Work with M-V Liaisons to ensure M-V students at risk of dropping out receive support and counseling to continue in school
Communicate regularly with the M-V Regional Liaison in order to maintain support and guidance for M-V responsibilities
Work from home
Report to M-V Regional Liaison
Time and effort logs are to be submitted monthly to North Cook ISC

Associate Degree Preferred

Familiarity w/ McKinney-Vento Laws (Federal & State)

LCSW licensure (Preferred)

HOURS PER WEEK: 20

Salary Range: $20-$25 per hour

Duration: Through the end of the current school year
