  • Assesses children throughout the school and identify children at risk
  • Designs and implements academic support in all core academic areas
  • Communicates with school personnel and parents of children regarding
    current levels and rate of progress
  • Differentiates instruction based on assessment data
  • Provide core academic support for General Education students
  • Gather progress monitoring data on identified students
  • Assists teachers in the referral process of academic support
  • Participates in Grade Level Tier meetings to help guide and monitor the
    progress of each child
  • Develops, selects and modifies instructional plans and materials to meet
    the needs of all students
  • Plans, organizes and provides instruction based on Common Core State
  • Performs duties as assigned


  • Minimum of 5 years teaching experience
  • Knowledge of educational research, trends, and best practices
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral)
  • Record of proven success with at-risk students
  • Knowledge of Google Apps for Education
  • Experience with a variety of educational software programs
  • Bilingual a plus

License: Valid Illinois Professional Educator License
