Duties
Preschool teacher for a blended at-risk preschool program, which follows the ISBE “Preschool For All” grant requirements. The classroom will have two 2.5-hour sessions, each with a maximum of 15 students. There are six preschool classrooms at Lincoln Elementary School, each one utilizing a teacher assistant and support from a parent educator, SLP, and other related service providers. The Lincoln Preschool program uses Creative Curriculum.
Qualifications
Professional Educator License endorsed in Early Childhood Education. An approval in Early Childhood Special Education and an ESL endorsement are desired but not required.
Salary/Benefits
Starts at $39,424 + full TRS contribution, BCBS Health Insurance and other benefits per the collective bargaining agreement. OES D141 accepts up to seven years of prior experience.
