Duties
1. Participates as a member of the multi-disciplinary team by conducting school social work components as part of the evaluation process. 2. Serves as a consultant to local districts for student educational and/or behavioral interventions in order to assist in the development of a constructive learning environment so that optimum learning may occur. 3. Provide direct services and/or interventions as designated on the student’s IEP. 4. Works cooperatively with administrators and staff from SASED, Member Districts, parents, students and community agencies.
Qualifications
The School Social Worker will hold a PEL with School Social Work Endorsement. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) designation is preferred. Must have valid driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle to drive between Member Districts or have other reliable means of transportation to drive between the Member Districts.
Salary/Benefits
According to SASED-EA Contract. Commensurate with education and experience.
