Provide speech and language services to students in grades K-6 via IEP.  Case manage students who do not have other special education needs.  Participate in the building's problem-solving team.  


Master's Degree in Speech Pathology with an ISBE school license.  ASHA certification preferred, but not required. Will provide for CFY supervision toward ASHA CCC's.


Salary automatically at MA+32.  2019-20 Starting salary range: $49,175 to $76,329 (based on years of experience - up to 24).  DPS also counts years in private industry (i.e. hospital work) as credible years for placement on salary schedule.  Comprehensive insurance plans available.  In addition to annual salary, SLP's get an annual stipend of $2,500.  

SLPs are provided time to collaborate with other SLPs in the area for professional learning and networking.
