Duties
1. Participates as a member of the multidisciplinary team by conducting
psychological evaluations as part of the evaluation process.
2. Serves as a consultant to local school districts for student
educational and/or behavioral interventions, in order to assist in the development
of a constructive learning environment so that optimum learning may occur.
3. Works cooperatively with administrators and staff from SASED, Member
Districts, parents, students, and community agencies.
Qualifications
The School Psychologist will hold an Illinois Professional Educator License with school psychologist or School Service Personnel endorsement.
Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) designation is preferred.
Must have valid driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle to drive between Member Districts or have other reliable means of transportation to drive between the Member Districts.
Salary/Benefits
According to SASED-EA Contract. Commensurate with education and experience.
