Duties

* Will be directly responsible to the Superintendent.  * Shall Serve as instructional leader in curriculum improvement and staff development.  * Direct, guide and coordinate the total educational program in cooperation with the staff.  * Facilitate and foster ongoing relationships with academic leaders from our feeder schools designed to improve academic success in all students in the community. * Responsible for maintaining a school climate conducive to learning.  * Responsible for evaluation of all professional staff.  * Shall involve staff in communications and decision-making.  * Responsible for the overall effectiveness of curricular, athletic, and extra-curricular programming. 

Qualifications

•Appropriate Illinois Professional Educators License endorsed in General School Administration •Masters Degree in School Administration •2+ years of Building Level Administration Experience (High School Preferred) •Completion of Illinois Performance Evaluation Training •A strong background in Curriculum & Instruction •Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
