Subscription Fees
Subscription fees for public and private schools are based on individual student enrollment and are listed below. Please note you will receive an invoice upon completion of the subscription form.

School Service Members (Businesses): Posting positions is included in your firm's IASA Annual Membership Dues. School Service Members DO need to submit the firm's request for a password and approval by submitting the School Service Subscription Form.

If you have already subscribed and need to reconfirm your password, contact the Job Bank at the IASA Office at 217/753-2213 or e-mail Job Bank. Please DO NOT re-subscribe. New subscribers need to complete the subscription form relative to their category which is located at this link.

Once you receive your password, log on to the IEJB at this link.
- Under Employers: Select To POST/EDIT/DELETE Job Postings
- You will need to enter your unique password and check the box that you are an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
- This will take you to the screen where you can begin posting your vacancies.
- Select "Add New Job"
- Please note the IASA Region, City, State and District Name are already completed for you.
- Application Deadline: Please select the month, day and year of your application deadline. Please note our program is set up to automatically remove postings according to the deadline listed in the vacancy.
- Start Date: Please enter the starting date of the position
- Type of Employment: Please select the appropriate box
- Position Type: Click the drop down arrow to select the position type
- Category: Click the drop down arrow to select the category
- Grade Level: Use the drop down arrow to select the grade level
- Job Certificates: This field is optional. However, if you know the required certificates, you only need to check the appropriate box listed.
- Duties: Use this field to note special duties for the vacancy.
- Number of Openings: Include the number of openings for the position.
- Qualifications: List specific qualifications and/or special skills.
- Salary/Benefits: List salary and/or benefits information
- Additional Notes: Use this field to include additional information for the posting.
- How to Apply: Enter specific application procedures, such as submitting copies of transcripts/certification, requesting an application form from the personnel office, etc. List the contact name and information.
- The following fields are optional: Building name, position website, city website, and district website. You can also choose to direct job seekers to your school/firm's online application.
Once you have entered the information for your posting, select "Submit." You should receive a pop up box noting the Job was Added. Your posting is now available for viewing. If you do not receive this notice, you will receive an error message noting the fields that need changed in your listing. Please make the changes and submit the vacancy again. You can also choose to save a draft of your posting.
Now that your posting has been added, you will begin to receive "automated" email notices of Job Seeker Profiles posted on our Job Bank that match the criteria within your posting. The "automated" notices will be sent directly to the email address listed within your posting. Here's an example of how it works: You post an elementary principal position on the Job Bank and you are located within Cook County. Our program is set up to automatically search the Job Bank for profiles that match the same criteria. Since the notices are "automated", you can choose to view the profiles OR simply delete them. The individual who has a profile posted on our Job Bank that matches the criteria for the job posted will also receive an "automated" email notice notifying them of the posting. You can also find a list of matching profiles under "Profiles" in the administration area for the specific job posted.
How to Edit/Delete a Posting
To edit or delete your posting, follow the following steps:
- Log on to the IEJB at this link.
- Under Employers: Select To POST/EDIT/DELETE job postings
- You will need to enter your unique password and check the box that you are an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
- You are now in a screen that is a private listing of postings for your school district/firm. Please note the list includes postings sorted by Current, Draft and Expired categories. If the draft and expired postings are listed, they are only viewable by you. If you wish to edit a posting, simply click on the appropriate link for the position, make the change and select the edit button at the bottom of the page. If you wish to delete the posting, find the position and select delete. You will need to reconfirm the deleted posting.
Viewing Posted Jobs
Jobs entered are immediately searchable by users of the IEJB.
To view jobs through the search process, go to the Job Bank home page and click on VIEW Illinois Education job vacancies to begin your Search. Once you have made your selection by Position Type, Category, County, Grade Level and Type of Employment, the Search Results will identify any district(s) with matching criteria. If you wish to view all jobs matching the Position Type and Category for the entire state, do not make any selection in the county. If you wish to select a different Position Type or Category, you merely need to begin a new process.
Applying On-Line
If a school district/firms chooses to accept on-line applications, it will be noted within the posting.
Profile Viewing
Viewing profiles posted by job seekers is available ONLY to IEJB subscribers through the User Password. Profiles are to be selected by Position Type, Category, and Type of Employment. The individual's name along with the certificate(s) held by the individual as well as their geographic location of interest is identified. To view the profile, you will need to click on the underlined individuals name for the complete profile. Once a profile title is selected for viewing, printing and/or saving has been completed, you MUST indicate "Back" to return to the previous screen to make a second selection by selecting the appropriate fields.
Profiles submitted by individuals matching the Position Type, Category, County, Grade Level and Type of Employment posted by districts will be automatically e-mailed to districts.

- The ILEARN link has been added to Positions posted to identify the (geographic information of a district) and,
- A link to a District's Report Card has been added for job seekers to view district information.
