Summary
We are seeking a School Nurse to join our team at United Cerebral Palsy-Center for Disability Services. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential health services to students, ensuring their well-being and supporting their educational experience. Your contributions will directly impact the lives of individuals with disabilities, promoting their health and independence.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct school nursing care to students with various health needs.
- Administer medications and monitor students for side effects or adverse reactions.
- Conduct health assessments and screenings to identify student health issues.
- Maintain accurate health records in compliance with HIPAA and FERPA regulations.
- Educate students, staff, and families on health-related topics and wellness initiatives.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as necessary.
