Duties

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with Illinois Learning Standards. 
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and growth. 
• Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs, including differentiated instruction and technology integration. 
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success. 
• Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives. 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or higher. Valid Illinois Professional Educator License and endorsements for this position.

Salary/Benefits

The estimated starting salary for a candidate with a Bachelor’s Degree is $41,768.57. The employee’s Teachers’ Retirement System (TRS) contribution of $4,093.32 is paid by the district in addition to the base salary. The district currently contributes $815.00 per month toward individual employee health insurance and provides dental insurance, vision insurance, and a $10,000 life insurance policy.
