Long Term Substitute Nurse (Approximately 10/13/2026-01/19/2027)

Description:  School Nurse at Highland High School

Applicant must be willing to:

• Serve as a liaison and resource to the students, faculty, and community on health-related issues
• Implement the health regulations, policies, and procedures of the school district, Department of Public Health, and Department of Education
• Administer prescribed medication to students according to policy
• Perform skilled nursing procedures in a safe, competent, and effective manner
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
• Other nursing duties as assigned may be necessary

Qualifications

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and a licensed Registered Nurse (RN), BSN preferred. Other professional nursing qualifications may be considered. 

Salary/Benefits

Salary:
Long Term Sub = $180/day
