Duties

Henry-Senachwine High School is seeking highly qualified candidates for a full time English position for the 2024-2025 school year. Successful candidates should be able to creatively engage students with a variety of instructional practices that inspire today's learner. Teaching assignment will/may include English I, American Literature, Contemporary Literature, World Literature, Speech, and/or other related classes. 

Qualifications

The selected candidate must possess a high moral and ethical character, be a team player, and a student advocate. The selected candidate must have a desire to make a difference, the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues toward continuous improvement, and demonstrate a positive, growth oriented mindset. The selected candidate candidate must hold a Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with secondary endorsements in English/Language Arts.

Salary/Benefits

We pay a competitive compensation based on education and experience, as negotiated by the collective bargaining agreement.
