Duties
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the humanities or English language arts, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated commitment to fostering the success of students working above grade level. This teacher will design and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons that promote critical thinking, reading, writing, and communication skills to advanced-level students.
This teacher will be expected to collaborate with colleagues, analyze student data to improve instructional practices, establish a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and risk-taking, communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, and other stakeholders regarding student performance and progress, participate in professional development opportunities to continually enhance content knowledge and pedagogical skills, and maintain accurate records and comply with all school/district policies and procedures.
