Duties
Individual Aide for a student placed at JL Buford Intermediate School in Mt. Vernon. In addition, candidates must be willing to complete additional training as needed for the individual student they will be serving which includes wheelchair transfer and diapering. Experience with these tasks is preferred.
Qualifications
Candidate must possess or be eligible for a paraprofessional license in the State of Illinois. We will also consider CNA candidates as these duties will closely align with their training. CNA candidates must be willing to obtain a paraprofessional license.
Salary/Benefits
The hourly rate for the 23-24 school year is $15.00 per hour. Sick and personal days are earned after one year of employment.
