Duties
Relative to teacher responsibilities in district job description including, but not limited to the following:
- Plan a program of study which meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students;
- Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning;
- Guide the learning process toward the achievement of clear objectives;
- Employ instructional methods/materials that are appropriate for meeting the objectives;
- Assess students on a regular basis;
- Counsel with colleagues, students, and/or parents regularly.
Qualifications
Appropriate degree and licensure for content area and grade level(s).
Salary/Benefits
Beginning salary of $50,549 (including TRS). Prior years of TRS service are recognized on the salary schedule. The Board provides health insurance for employees as a benefit.
